Education Philosophy:

I believe that every student who enters a classroom is entitled to the utmost educational experience that is possible from the Professor. I believe that "the student should be taught the subject and not the subject to the student." In addition to this, I believe that the student should give the Professor his/her very best to learn what the Professor is presenting. If these two elements are mixed together, the goals of both the student and the Professor are achieved.

Welcome to our website. I am Bertha Nuñez, Assistant Director of the Eastside Campus. My job at this campus is to make your journey with us as smooth as possible. As a graduate of International Business College, I understand how difficult it is to pick up the phone and make a life changing decision. Picking up the phone and calling an admissions representative was the best decision I made. Ten years later I am the Assistant Director of the Eastside Campus. I welcome all of you to do the same. Above on the side are the areas I deal with on a daily bases with our students. Once again, welcome and hope to see you as one of our students soon.

Federal Student Aid Program	Type of Aid	Program Details
Federal Pell Grant	Grant: Does not have to be repaid	Available almost exclusively to undergraduates: all eligible students will receive the Federal Pell Grant amount they qualify for
Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant	Grant: Does not have to be repaid	For undergraduates with exceptional financial need; priority is given to Federal Pell Grant recipients; funds depend on availability at school
Subsidized FFEL Stafford Loan	Loan: Must be repaid	Subsidized: U.S. Dept of Education pays interest while borrower is in school and during grace and deferment periods; you must be at least a part-time student
Unsubsidized FFEL Stafford Loan	Loan: Must be repaid	Unsubsidized: Borrower is responsible for interest during the life of the loan; you must be at least a part-time student ; financial need is not a requirement
FFEL PLUS Loan	Loan: Must be repaid	Available to parents of dependent undergraduate students who are enrolled at least part-time
